It has made me so happy to be able to help my clients feel like themselves or even better then before.  It is hard to know what we should and shouldn’t be taking. In last weeks blog I spoke about Bioidentical Pregnenolone(global link except for Australia this is the link for you if you are DownUnder it’s benefits for your brain health, libido and anxiety. It’s a great supplement to explore for you because it also is great for SLEEP! This supplement is for a specific problem but then it’s a good idea to have some basics that will help your body to do it’s best job for you.

Sit down and put your feet up, sit back as we share with you the 7 supplements that you need to keep your hormones balanced and you feeling your best in 2019!

General Supplements that keep your body strong and lean

These are the foundations of your body, which is your temple! Supplements are not a ‘stand in’ for having a bad diet! Your food choices are important to balance your hormones and age healthy and gracefully.

1. Do you need a multivitamin?

The answer to this is; YES that is a good idea. Even when your diet is great, it is likely that you still don’t get all your micronutrients because of the state of our deprived farmland.  I am a fan of vitamins that have been derived my natural food sources. The quality your multivitamin is essential, if it is synthetic your body might not even be able to absorb it properly. Multitaskerwould be my choice.

It is packed with 13 concentrated extracts including vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients.

It is scientifically tested and the ingredients support cellular health and overall wellness.

2. How is your Gut feeling?

And I mean that on a physical and metaphysical level. Everybody is talking about gut health these days and rightly so. The bulk of your immune system is in your gut and did you know that you have a “brain” in your gut also? But I will be writing a whole blog on this subject, it’s fascinating.

Fiber is very important for your gut. The more raw veggies and fruit you eat, the more fibre you are taking into your body.

The king of helping you “go” is touted to be in a lot of the foods that we eat. However, many of us aren’t getting enough of it.

Fiber suppresses your appetite, which then reduced your menopausal weight, improves your blood sugar and cholesterol levels whilst decreasing inflammation, and slows aging.

Fiber is very great for you and you really need to incorporate it in your regime.

Many women in peri- and menopause have estrogen dominance. Fiber lowers estrogen levels and therefore also prevents breast cancer.

Sun Fiberis a product that I really like. With 6 grams of both soluble and insoluble fiber per serving, Sun Fiber is a low-allergy-potential blend which can support healthy intestinal transit time and bowel regularity.

3. Good Bacteria just for you

With your immune system being in your gut, it is essential to you look after it well. It will serve you well to fend of infections and any of the bugs going around, especially in winter.

If you ever had to take antibiotics it is so essential that you build up the colony of good gut bacterias again.

You might have heard about eating fermented foods like Kimchi and Sauerkraut, which is an excellent idea. Or culturing Kombucha as your drink is fantastic for you.

If you are not getting enough of these fermented drinks and foods you might want to try some

If you’re finding it hard to get your daily dose of probiotics in, I am in love with this HyperbioticSupplement. It has 15 targeted probiotic strands.

So what are you waiting for? To be healthy and strong your gut needs to be in order!

4. You need your Sleep or Menopause will be a drag – for SURE

I am sure you know M&M choclates but what about Magnesium and Melatonin?

Your body needs Magnesium very much, it is one of the seven essential macro-minerals that we need in large quantities. But we do not produce it naturally so we need to take it from outside sources.

Magnesium helps you to sleep better! It helps your muscles and mind relax. Then your body maintains healthy levels of GABA, a neurotransmitter that promotes sleep.

Eating greens with every meal is a fantastic idea too.

This Chelated Magnesiumwith it’s great absorption is one of my favourite ones. This is must-have supplement for 2019!
